Lamar “Jody” Quick, age 68 of Bennettsville, South Carolina passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020.

Jody was born September 28, 1951 in Marlboro County, South Carolina, son of the late Loch Quick and Naomi Peele Steen Quick. He was the loving husband of the late Barbara Ring Quick. For over 40 years, he worked with Kordsa USA as a maintenance mechanic. In his leisure time, Jody was a collector and enjoyed fishing. He was a devoted father, loving grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Along with his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Chavis.

He is survived by his sons, Adrian Luis Quick (Heather) of Hudson, MI, Jody Lamar Quick (Heather) of Bennettsville, SC; step-son, Eric Ring of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Glen Steen of Bennettsville, SC; sister, Blondie Williams of Bennettsville, SC; grandchildren, Phoebe Logan Mykayla Quick, Hunter Sabastian Luis Quick, Savannah Ring, Cheyanne Ring, Albany Ring, along with his nieces, nephews and many friends.
