Kimberly “Kim” Ann Quick, age 59 of Laurinburg, formerly of Maxton, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021.
Kim was born April 10, 1962 in Scotland County, daughter of the late Rev. Clarence Quick, Jr. and Rosa Lee Grooms Quick. She worked many years for Charles Craft Industries and attended East Laurinburg Baptist Church. Kim enjoyed music, shopping, and cooking big dinners for her family and friends. She was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Kim will truly be missed.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Marshall Wayne Quick, Ronald Clarence Quick, and Danny Ray Quick.
Kim leaves to cherish her memories, life partner, Jimmy Bracey of Maxton; daughter, Jayme Bracey (David); son, James Edison Bracey, IV, all of the home; sisters, Yvonne Q. Nichols (Don), Dale Scott (Jackie), all of Laurinburg, Melissa Barton (Charles) of Maxton, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the family at P.O. Box 1913, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery. A time of visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the funeral home.
