Kevin Chevalier

Kevin Robert Chevalier of Laurinburg, North Carolina, son of the late Robert J. Chevalier and Joann M. Chevalier, passed away on May 1, 2023. He was born 62 years ago on August 2, 1960, in Menominee, Michigan.

Kevin had a distinguished career as the Southeastern Regional Meat Procurement Manager for Spartan Nash Distribution Center in Lumberton, North Carolina and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He enjoyed being outdoors, playing golf, going camping or watching his favorite football team the Green Bay Packers. Kevin’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Melanie M. Chevalier of the home; son, Justin Chevalier (Beverly) of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Amanda Chevalier Jarrell (Matthew) of Laurinburg, NC; sister, Kim A. Dilky (Robert) of Urbandale, IA; brothers, Steven J. Chevalier (Michelle) of Van Meter, IA, Ken M. Chevalier (Lisa) of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren, Elijah Chevalier, Katerina Chevalier, Stefan Chevalier, Hudson Jarrell and the soon expected baby Sutton Jarrell; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial following at Hillside Memorial Park.  

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
