Katie Louise Knight, known as “Peggy” age 75 of Laurinburg passed away on April 18, 2024.

Katie was born in Scotland County, NC on December 26, 1948, daughter of the late David Caviness Knight and the late Eva Culbert Knight. Peggy’s love of children led to a fulfilling career in child care. She was a loving sister, adored aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed.

Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her son.

Peggy is survived by her brother, David Knight of Laurinburg; niece, Patricia Lynn Knight; and her best friend, Joyce Lowery of Laurinburg.
