Kathryn Eleanor Grant

Kathryn Eleanor Grant, age 66 of Laurinburg passed away on November 12, 2023.

Kathy was born February 15, 1957 in Chester S.C., daughter of the late Carl E. Grant and Jerolyn (Jerry) Hopper Grant. She was a 1975 graduate of Scotland High School and a 1979 graduate of East Carolina University which she loved and still followed. Kathy was a huge sports fan and played softball from her childhood through college. She also loved the beach where she enjoyed fishing especially on Johnnie Mercers Pier. Always loved a good cookout and camping with family and friends.

She is survived by her family, brother, Joe Grant and wife Debbie, her niece Haley Powell all of Laurinburg. Her nephew Chad Cole of Mars Hill, NC. Many other family and friends that were very dear to her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Church, PO Box 397, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
