Juanita Walters

Juanita Walters of Laurinburg, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away at the age of 62 on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

She was born December 15, 1962 in Scotland County, NC, daughter of the late Nathan and Lillian Jeffery Walters. Juanita loved her work as a customer service representative in the food industry with Nic’s Pic Kwik for many devoted years where she built many cherished relationships with both co-workers and customers.  She loved her daily calls or texts with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren. Juanita will be dearly missed and remembered for her love and devotion to her family and friends.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Charles Walters, Freddie Walters, Ronald Walters, Mitchell Walters, Andrew Walters, and Kenny Walters.

Left to rejoice in her memory are daughters, Tia Rogers (James) of Salisbury, Dyanna Poer (Dustin) of Lexington, and Meggan House of Charlotte; brother, Timothy Walters of Raeford; and her adored grandchildren, Arwen Rogers, Elizabeth Rogers, and soon to arrive, Ares Poer; along with many loving extended family and friends.

The family will have a time of visitation on Saturday, August 2, 2025 beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.
