John Franklin "Frank" Gulledge, III

John Franklin “Frank” Gulledge, III of Maiden, NC passed away at the age of 59 on November 15, 2024.

Frank was the loving son of the late John Franklin Gulledge, Jr., and the late Mae Belle Childress Gulledge, born July 29, 1965 in Scotland County, NC. Frank was a longtime dedicated employee who loved his work as a pilot with the JetBlue Airways Corporation. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed spending time on his farm, and when not flying riding his motorcycle.  Frank will be greatly missed and fondly remembered for his love and devotion to his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is fiancé, Melissa Trost of Huntersville; brother, William “Bill” Gulledge and wife, Leigh of Greenville, SC; nieces, Lauren Gulledge Frost and husband, Aaron of Greenville, SC, Sarah Gulledge Davenport and husband, Richard of Thomason, GA; great-nieces, Ryleigh Mae Davenport, Dallas Ann Frost, and Sadie J. Davenport; along with his extended family and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held prior to services from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
