John Colie "JC" Robson

Mr. John Colie “JC” Robson, age 76 of Bennettsville, South Carolina departed this life on September 4, 2025.

He was the loving son of the late Colie Robson and Eliza English Robson, born May 17, 1949 in Marlboro County, SC. JC worked in the textile industry for over 30 devoted years with JP Stevens, Inc., until retiring. He was an avid sports fan of the Clemson Tigers, loved NASCAR racing, watching wrestling and spending time fishing. JC was a loving brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, James “Toaster” Robson; and sisters, Alma Robson, Elaine Robson, Ann Helms, and Monnie Willoughby.

Left to rejoice in his memory are brothers, Donnie Robson (Barbara) of Ellerbe, Marshall Robson (Lisa) of Teals Mill, SC; sister, Helen Herndon of Hamlet; his adored nieces and nephews, Keith Helms, Jason Helms, Dana Thomas, Colby Robson, Paul Robson, April Butler, Patrick Herndon, Heather Marks; and sixteen great-nieces and nephews; along with his loving extended family and friends.

Services will be held at graveside 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025 in Steen Cemetery, Bennettsville, SC.
