Jesse Pate, Jr

Jesse Pate, Jr., age 65 of Laurel Hill passed away March 14, 2019.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday March 18, 2019 at Charity Outreach Holiness Church. A private interment will be at a later date.

Jesse, a son of the late Jesse Pate, Sr. and Margaret Jones Pate was born December 4, 1953 in Scotland County. He worked many years for Waverly Mills and later as a hardwood floor installer for Moore Floors. He was a faithful member of Charity Outreach Holiness Church. He enjoyed weight lifting, fishing and yard work. Jesse’s greatest joy was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and friends.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Linda Gohman.

He leaves behind his fiancé, Pattie Easterling-Walters of Laurinburg; daughters, Frances Margaret Pate (Victor) of Pembroke, Chenoa Renee Pate of Laurel Hill; step children, Billie Jo Easterling of Laurinburg, Anthony Easterling of Oak Island; brother, Donald Pate of St. Pauls; sisters, Betty Sue Smiling (Michael) of Red Springs, Brenda Lee (David) of Raeford; special aunt, Zelma Rea Oxendine of Laurinburg; fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; special friend, Mike Beasley, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
