Jeanette Locklear Seals

Jeanette Locklear Seals was born September 26, 1946, daughter of the late Jimmie and Mamie Clark Locklear of Laurinburg, NC. She dearly missed her loving and devoted husband of 54 years the late James “Raymond” Seals who passed in 2021.  She dedicated her life to the love and care of her family as a homemaker.  She loved cooking, especially baking, sewing, completing word search puzzles, listening to good music, along with working in her garden and flowers.   Jeanette passed away at the age of 78 on November 20, 2024.  

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer, who lovingly nicknamed her “Ouiser” because of her fisty personality.  She also leaves behind her loving family, many nieces and nephews, and her devoted neighbors.

Jeanette’s final request was to privately be laid to rest beside her late husband in the Bowen Family Cemetery and no other services are to be held.
