Jasper Knight Obituary

Jasper Aaron Knight, age 77 of Laurinburg passed away June 14, 2022.

Jasper was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina, son of the late Rev. Thomas Franklin Knight and Eva Mae Gwinn Knight. He was a Veteran who proudly served our country in the United States Navy, later working in the transportation business as a truck driver. He attended Peace Holiness Church, was an avid sports fan and enjoyed golfing. Jasper will truly be missed by his family and friends.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Porter; brothers, Abraham Knight, Paul Knight, Nathan Knight, Jessie Knight, John Knight, James Knight and sister, Ruth Whitehead.

Jasper is survived by his sons, Chris Lowery (Elizabeth) of Rock Hill, SC, Aaron Knight (Susan) of Social Circle, GA, Daniel Knight (Lisa) of Savannah, GA; daughter, Kaye Brewer of Lumberton; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A Memorial service is being planned for a later date.
