Obituary
Janet David Layton of Laurinburg passed away at the age of 71 on May 23, 2023.
She was the daughter of the late John David and Gladys Modlin David born November 17, 1951 in Bishopville, South Carolina. Janet had a rewarding career as a Histotechnologist with First Health Moore Regional Hospital for many years. She enjoyed reading, writing, listening to music and dancing and watching movies. Janet was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will truly be missed.
She is survived by her children, Jim Quick and Jenny Gentry; adored grandchildren, Will Collins, Mackenzie Gentry, and Madison Gentry; along with a host of loving friends.
The family is planning a memorial service for a later date.
