James "Jimmy" McGee

James “Jimmy” McGee, age 88 of Laurinburg passed away February 8, 2021.

Jimmy was born February 22, 1932 in Scotland County, son of the late Ralph and Ida McGee. He worked many years as a truck driver in freight transportation. He loved his family, and especially loved sharing time with his grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ralph McGee and sister, Margaret Radford.

He is survived by his son, Mike McGee of Garner; daughter, Jackie McGee Womble (Charlie) of North Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother, Ronnie McGee of Laurinburg; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 in the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park. Services will be officiated by Rev. Gary McMillan. 

 COVID restrictions require facial masks with social distancing for all services.
