James “Jamie” Earl Morris was the son of Barbara Webb Morris Pittman and the late Jeffery Morris, born October 20, 1970 in Scotland County, North Carolina. He was a talented carpenter and builder who truly loved working with his hands. He loved his unique, basically self-reconstructed Harley Davidson and riding was his passion. Traveling, exploring new places and just being on the road brought him much pleasure. Above all, Jamie loved his family, caring for and sharing time with each of them, especially his adorable grandchildren. He departed this life riding into his eternal sunset at the age of 50 alongside his special friend, Grace Farmer on May 30, 2021.
Along with his father, he is preceded in death by a son, Christian Morris; daughter, Mary Margaret Morris and step father, Johnny Pittman.
Jamie leaves behind his children, T.J. Morris (Brittany) of Rockfish, and Elizabeth “Gwen” Morris (E.J.) of Raeford, and Michael "Earl" Morris; his mother, Barbara Pittman of Raeford; a brother, Jeffery Morris (Katie) of Lagrange; and sister, Amanda Jones (Jerry) of Raeford; grandchildren, Bradley Morris and Harley Morris; his special nieces and nephews; loving aunts, uncles, and special cousins, Tommy Webb, Melinda McMillan along with a host of loving family, his many friends and fellow bikers.
