James Leroy White

James Leroy White was the son of the late Stephen Louis White and the late Joyce Jones White born October 24, 1972 in Fort Worth, Texas.  He proudly served our nation in the United States Army.  James was a hardworking man who loved and cherished his family.  He enjoyed his work as a textile mechanic with Hanes Mills.  He also enjoyed music, fishing, working in the yard, caring for his dogs and especially grilling out and sharing time with family.  He passed away at the age of 50 on September 28, 2023.  He will truly be missed by each of his loved ones.

James is survived by his wife, Susan Turner-White of Hamlet; sons, Joshua White, Donald White, and daughter, Morgan P. Turner all of Hamlet; brother, Samuel D. White of Darlington, SC; sisters, Trudy Lowery of Maxton and Shelly Jones of Washington, IN.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service.   The service will be graveside at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 4th in the Richmond County Memorial Park.
