James Clyde Troutman, age 64 of Laurel Hill passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021.
James was born May 5, 1956 in Stanley County, son of the late Theodore Clyde Troutman and Geneva Schultz Troutman. He was a Veteran who proudly served in the United States Army, then working many years with Mohawk Industries. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing laptop games, and going out to eat. James loved spending time with family and will be remembered as a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He leaves behind his son, Spencer Clyde Troutman of Rockingham; daughters, Karen Denise Graves of Rockingham, Bridgette Faith Troutman of Hamlet, Crystal Troutman of Norwood; sister, Mary Ann Troutman Martinez of Norwood; grandchildren, Aiden Mance Troutman, Layla Denise Graves, Drake Dragane Troutman, Aaron Mitchell Wilson, III; lifelong friend, Belinda Quick of Laurel Hill, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In memory of James, a Birthday gathering to celebrate his life will begin at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 17700 Tabernacle Road in Laurel Hill.
