Harold Shane Brown

Harold Shane Brown of Laurinburg went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2025 after a battle with cancer.

He was born August 7, 1964 in Linn County, Oregan and grew up in Sweet Home, Oregon.  His life work was a self-employed mechanic.  He loved to stay busy working in the yard, rebuilding small engines and fishing.

He is preceded in death parents, Herschel P. Brown Sr., and Betty J. Sweatt Brown; and son, Patrick Carpenter.

Surviving family is daughter, Amanda Ferebee of Sweet Home, Oregon, son, Michael Knight, of Laurinburg, NC, son, Anthony Carpenter of Wasilla, Alaska; brothers Herschel P. Brown, Jr., Darryl A. Brown (Sandra) and sisters Terry A Turner, Florence E. Brown and Angela Dean (Danny); seven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
