Glenda Hendricks Smith

Glenda Hendricks Smith, age 69, passed November 25, 2021 at Moore Regional after a brief illness.

She had a distinguished career as an IT Systems Manager with both Dell and later retiring from Scotland Memorial Hospital.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening,  painting. coloring and spending time at the beach.  Above all, Glenda loved her family and sharing her time with each of them. 

She is preceded in death by her father, George Hendricks; brother, George Hendricks, and her husband, Charles Smith.

She is survived by her mother, Helen Hunt; children, Arthur Ward (Jennifer), Rachel Palombo (Daniel), granddaughter, Illa Anne-Marie Ward; sisters, Pat Dombrosky (Mark), Susan Braddock, and Mary Smith (Steve).

Visitation will be held Monday, November 29, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Wilson Harrington Funeral Home in Hamlet.
