Mr. Gerald Dean Maynor of Laurel Hill, NC departed this life at the age of 60 on November 22, 2025.
He was born March 3, 1965 in Robeson County, loving son of the late Roscoe and Emmer Jane Jones Maynor. Gerald was employed as a HVAC technician, working with Wimpy Heating and Air and Earl’s Heating and Air for many devoted years. He served as a faithful member of Timber Crossing Church. Gerald enjoyed going fishing and was an avid sports fan. His greatest joy came from time spent with his family. Gerald will be greatly missed and remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Lacy Carroll Maynor and sister, Kathy Lee.
Left to cherish his memory is his adored wife, Rose Tyler Maynor of the home; sons, Phillip Lee Tyler of Pembroke, Scotti Tyler also of Pembroke, Gerald Tyler of Maxton, Quentin Maynor of Rockingham, Trent Maynor of Laurel Hill; brothers, Glenn Maynor and Donald Maynor both of Rockingham; sisters, Peggy Cox of Laurel Hill, Betty Braswell of Laurinburg, Jackie Leviner of Hamlet, Margaret Corner of Laurinburg; fourteen grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family is planning a memorial service for a later date.
