Gerald M. Jacobs

Gerald M. Jacobs, age 50 of Walnut Cove, NC passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020.

Gerald, a son of Danny Harrison and the late Betty Jacobs Harrison was born in Scotland County on September 29, 1969.   He was lovingly raised by his Granny, the late Lizzie Locklear Jacobs and grandfather, Huley Jacobs.   He was a Master Mechanic, loved cars and could fix anything he touched.  He enjoyed working in management with Southern Coach. Family was most important to Gerald; his daughters were the center of his life and he cherished every moment with Carrie and Lillian.  He was a special father, brother, uncle and friend who will truly be missed.

Along with his mother, he is preceded in death by his Granny, Lizzie Locklear Jacobs and grandfather, Huley Jacobs.

Gerald leaves behind his daughters, Carrie Jacobs of Kernersville and Lillian Jacobs of Germanton; father, Danny Harrison of Climax, GA; brother, Bryan Jones of Raeford; his sister, Carolann Rogers of Tabor City; a nephew, three nieces, and a host of loving family and friends.

A private graveside service for immediate family only will be at Noon, Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the Locklear Family Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Frankie Rogers.  A time of viewing will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until Noon at Richard Boles Funeral Service.

AT THIS TIME, FEDERAL AND STATE OFFICIALS HAVE MANDATED LIMITING ALL GATHERINGS TO NO MORE THAN 50 PEOPLE.  THIS MANDATE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE BASED ON FORCOMING CHANGES BY OFFICIALS.  IN ORDER TO KEEP ALL OF OUR FAMILIES SAFE DURING THIS TIME, RICHARD BOLES FUNERAL SERVICE WILL ABIDE BY ALL MANDATES.
