Geneva Mauldin Breeden, daughter of the late David Mauldin and Olive Mae Walters Mauldin was born August 21, 1943 in Scotland County, NC. Geneva devoted her life to family as a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and spending time with each of them, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing, as well as drawing and coloring. She passed away at age 77, on February 15, 2021.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Katlyn Cole Breeden; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Breeden, and sister, Margaret Brayboy.
Geneva is survived by husband, Woody Breeden, Jr. of Laurinburg; sons, Woody Breeden (Donna) of Laurinburg, Mark Anthony Breeden (Jessica) of Laurel Hill, Pastor Tony Clark (Jan) of Hamlet; daughter, Angel Dawn Quick (Jonathan) of Laurinburg; sister, Yvonne “Bunnie” Thompson of Rockingham; grandchildren, Woody Breeden IV, Amanda Chappell, Brandon Chappell, Christopher Chappell (Jordan), Kayla Breeden, Luke C. Breeden, Selena Breeden, Shania Harris (Glenn), Eric McPherson, Jr., Sean McPherson, Jordan Rowles, Tyler Clark, Joey Clark, Taylor Clark, Maranda Curry, twelve great grandchildren, and a host of many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Private Family service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Pastor Tony Clark. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
