Gearl Patrick Weaver, age 67 of Gibson passed away at his home on November 15, 2023.

Gearl was born March 17, 1956 in Morgantown, West Virginia, son of the late Charles L. Weaver and the late Corrine Eleanor Gull Weaver. He worked many years as a machine operator with Marley Industrial Products. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, following Facebook and listening to music on vinyl records. Gearl’s happiest times were those shared with family.

Along with his parents, a brother, Charlie L. Weaver preceded him in death.

Gearl is survived by his children, sons, Jeremy P. Weaver of Holden Beach, Benjamin L. Weaver of Gibson, and daughter, Kelley A. Witherspoon of Laurinburg; mother of his children, Brenda Bowers of Laurinburg; a brother, Terry Weaver of St. Petersburg, FL; sister-in-law, Mindy Weaver of Hilton Head, SC; six grandchildren, along with his loving extended family.
