Frank James Locklear, age 41 of Laurel Hill, NC passed away on July 15, 2025.
He was born May 28, 1984 in Scotland County, NC, loving son of Jessie James Junior Locklear, Jr., and Linda Stubbs. He was a longtime valued employee working in the tree service industry. Frank enjoyed tinkering on old cars, gaming, planting flowers, and loved to laugh and joke with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Frank is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Cearlean Strong and Woodrow Strong, maternal grandfather, Frank Stubbs; and brother-in-law, Jonathan Quick.
Left to rejoice in his memory are daughters, Mya Locklear and Milee Cox both of Rockingham; mother, Linda Stubbs of Laurel Hill; father, Jessie Locklear, Jr.; brother Jessie James Locklear (Stephanie) of Jamestown, NY; sisters, Jamie Stubbs Quick of Hamlet, Shana Locklear of Laurel Hill; grandson, Bentley Sheppard; maternal grandmother, Lucille Stubbs; his companion, Mera Perry of Laurel Hill; longtime boss and friend, Herbie Lee Jernigan and Brandon Jernigan whom he loved as a brother; along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will have a time of visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening, July 21, 2025 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.
Family and friends will be received at home of his mother, Linda Stubbs in Laurel Hill.
