Francis Alpha Greenler III, age 72 of Laurinburg passed away at his home on October 6, 2025.
He was born October 17, 1952 in Ketchikan, Alaska, a son of the late Francis Alpha Greenler, Jr., and Elizabeth Jane Ogono Greenler. He was a Veteran who proudly served in the United States Army along with having a long career as a truck driver with the National Guard Chemical Company and later retiring from All Chemical. Francis had many hobbies that he truly enjoyed especially RC Model Airplanes, Hi-Fi Stereo systems gardening, and being a coffee connoisseur. Above all, he cherished his family and sharing time with each of them.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Tom Greenler
Survivors include his wife, Mary Aurila Greener of their home in Laurinburg, NC; son, Michel Greenler also of Laurinburg, NC; daughters, Jennifer Anderson (Jason) of Las Vegas, NV, Christine Brooks (Thomas) of Laurinburg, NC, Carrie Greenler of Sunnyvale, CA; grandchildren, Erik Adair, Allisson Viney with one more on the way; brothers, Paul Greenler of Washington, John Greenler (Linda) of Missouri, Jim Greenler and Charlie Greenler both of Washington; sisters, Nancy Greenler of Ellensburg, WA, Ann Alpgo of San Marie, CA; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
