Frances “Louise” Cook Webb was the daughter of the late Robert and Alice Autry Cook, born December 15, 1923 in Gastonia, North Carolina. She was the devoted wife of over 50 years to the late William Thomas Webb, Sr. She dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family as a homemaker. Louise served as a longtime member of the Caledonia United Methodist Church. Her favorite times were cooking for her family and sharing time with each of them. She departed this life at the age of 96 on Sunday, June 14, 2020.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by grandchildren, Christian Morris and Mary Margaret Morris; daughter-in-law, Liza Webb; sons-in-law, Marshall Smith and Johnny Pittman.
Mrs. Webb leaves behind her children, son, William “Billy” Thomas Webb, Jr., of Laurinburg; daughters, Mary Smith and Barbara Pittman both of Raeford; sisters, Jean Sullivan of Florida and Nancy Smith of Darlington, SC; grandchildren, Melinda McMillan (David), Tommy Webb (Denise), Jeffery Morris (Katie), Jamie Morris (Grace), Amanda Jones (Jerry); great grandchildren, Ashley, Lindsey, Brittany, Taylor, TJ, Hunter, Jacob, Elizabeth Gwen, Abigail, Ava, Ty, Ronan, Alley, Earl, Macie; eight great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in the Caledonia United Methodist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. P. Kelly Barr. There will be a family time prior to services on Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Caledonia United Methodist Church.
The family requests memorial donations to be given to the Caledonia United Methodist Church or the Humane Society of Scotland County.
Special appreciation to Community Care and Hospice for their special care given to Louise and her family during her illness.
