Forrest Anthony Lee of Laurinburg, NC, passed away at the age of 65 on February 17, 2026.
He was born January 28, 1961 in Pampa, Texas, adored son of the late Johnny Edward Lee and the late Lois “Nadine” Hodges Lee. In June 1987, Forrest would marry the love of his life, Pamela Ann Mertens Lee, with whom he shared a beautiful life. He was a successful salesman in the automotive industry until retiring and had a particular love for classic cars. Forrest was an avid sports fan, especially football, baseball, and racing. His greatest joy came from time shared with his family, especially his grandchildren and beloved dogs. Forrest will be greatly missed and remembered as a “Man’s Man” with a gentle soul and a deep love and devotion for his family.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by grandparents, “Papaw and Mamaw”, Byron and Irene Hodges.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Pamela Ann Lee of the home; son, Tommy Lee (Ann) of Laurinburg; adored grandsons, Byron Lee and Trent Lee; brother, Wayne Lee of Texas, Charles Lee (Cathy) of Florida, Johnny Lee also of Florida; sisters, Carol Braddock (Dickie) of Texas, Helen Milstead (Blaine) of Kansas; along with a host loving extended family and friends.
The family is planning a gathering at 4:00 p.m. at their home on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
