Emmie Grooms Obituary

Emmie was born January 12, 1954 in Scotland County, North Carolina, the adored daughter of the late Emerson Matthew Cottingham and the late Lula Adell Adams. Emmie loved a good cup of coffee, watching her favorite stories on the television, and cake decorating. Supporting her grandchildren in their sporting events, and their memories shared were special to Emmie. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Emmie will be forever missed and remembered for her love of helping other, her sweet soul and big heart, and deep devotion to family and friends.
