Emily Rollins Williams, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed to her Heavenly home at the age of 75 on October 18, 2024.
Emily was born July 14, 1949, in Randolph County, North Carolina, loving daughter of the late Jonathan Monroe Rollins and the late Lena Yow Rollins. Along with being a homemaker, she loved her careers as a hair stylist, daycare worker, and teacher’s assistant. She served as a member of Skyway Baptist Church and Northview Harvest Ministries. She recently attended McColl Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was an avid reader, enjoyed working word search puzzles, and volunteering with different programs during and after school. Above all, Emily loved her family and sharing time with each of them, especially her grandchildren. She was most proud of her sons’ coaching careers, supporting and attending many of their games. She was a precious wife, loving mother and grandmother, sister and friend who will dearly be missed.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by infant daughter, Sharon Denise Williams; brother, J.R. Rollins; and sister, Shelby Jean R. Lewter.
Emily is survived by her loving husband, James “Ted” Williams of their home in Laurinburg; sons, Greg Williams (Traci) of Rockingham, and Kris Williams of Laurinburg; her adored grandchildren, Abigail Williams, Brayden Williams, Bryce Williams, Kaylee Williams, Emily “Emma” Williams; sister, Linda Faye Cagle of Asheboro, loving nieces, nephews and many devoted friends.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, October 22nd at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
