Ellen Louiane McCoy Caison

Ellen Louiane McCoy Caison, age 67 of Laurinburg passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 surrounded by her family.

Ellen, a daughter of the late Barney Ray McCoy and Ada Ellen Barker McCoy was born May 19, 1951. She was the wife to the late Henry “Edward” Caison, Jr. who passed away in 2013. She worked many years as a hairdresser and was a member of East Laurinburg Church of God. Her greatest joy was spending time with all of her family.

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Michael McCoy.

She leaves behind her children, Mark Anthony Dunn of Wilmington, DE and Shelley Caison Brigman (Scott) of Hamlet; brother, Jessie McCoy of Mountain City, TN; sisters, Joyce Wade of Wilmington, DE, Lisa Dixon of Maryland; grandchildren, Nathan, Paisley, Legend, Hailey and four great grandchildren; her nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be at Noon on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the East Laurinburg Church of God. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until noon at the church.
