Ella Frances Watts was born November 16, 1954 in Scotland County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Beulah H. Butler and the late Vonnie H. Watts. She passed away at the age of 69 on August 16, 2024. Along with her parents, Ella is preceded in death by one son, Clyde Junior Walters II; one daughter, Tammy Walters McKinnon; two brothers, Hubert Watts and Ray Watts.
Frances received her education in the Scotland County Public Schools of North Carolina, where she made lifelong friendships. Ms. Watts was employed with Home Health Care as a Certified Nursing Assistant until her health failed. To everyone she came across, Ella was the sweetest lady they knew, to us her family, she was the strongest lady we knew. She was a firecracker, full of laughs, support, and love.
Ella leaves to cherish her memories; one daughter, Diane Walters of Laurinburg, NC; one son, Donny Ray Walters (Lisa) of Knoxville, TN; bonus son (grandson) Terry Leach of the home; daughter by love, Brenda Davis; seven grandchildren, Ronald Jacobs, Travis Walters, Shaqueta Graham, Shaniya Campbell, Shanaysia Purvis, Elizabeth Walters and Alexus Walters; three great grandsons, Anthony (her pumpkin) Moss, Cameron Jacobs, and Nolan Leach; one brother, Charles Watts of Laurinburg; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who loved her dearly.
Graveside Services will be held 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024 in Hillside Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Richard Tyson. Family will receive friends following the service at graveside.
