Elizabeth Warr

Elizabeth Leviner Warr of Laurinburg passed away at the age of 81 on November 22, 2025.

She was born June 1, 1944 in Scotland County, NC, the loving daughter of the late Lathan Leviner and the late Lizzie Scott Leviner. Elizabeth was a valued employee of Abbott Laboratories retiring after many dedicated years. She enjoyed traveling with family, going on cruises, playing cards, and tending to her flowers. Elizabeth was always the life of the party who especially loved Christmas time and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, devoted sister, and friend who will truly be missed.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her adored husband, James Alton Warr; sons, Johnny Warr, Baby Boy Warr; and daughter, Brenda Warr.

Left to cherish her memory is sons, James Warr, Jr., of China Grove, Kenny  Warr of Wagram, Steve Warr of Hamlet; daughters, Debbie Norris (Kenny) of Laurel Hill, Lisa Lee (Johnny) of Laurinburg; sisters, Vivian Bigley of Rockingham, Vera Ruiz of Laurinburg, Maxine Leviner of Laurel Hill; grandchildren, Sandy Oxendine, Natisha Sanchez, Steven Warr, Ricky Warr, Josh Taylor, Jonathan Warr, Matthew Warr, Keila Warr, Chelsea Rodriguez, Nakoma Rice, Jonathan Lee, Brandon Norris, Stephanie Chavis; thirty-three great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of loving extended family and friends.

A time of visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Richard Boles Funeral Service. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel followed by burial in Hillside Memorial Park.
