Elizabeth Clark Johnson Prevatte

Elizabeth Clark Johnson Prevatte, age 75 of Laurel Hill, NC passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021.

Elizabeth was born to the late Bill Clark and Allie Mae Medlin Clark on December 4, 1945 in Clio, SC.  She was wife to the late Billy Prevatte. She worked twenty-six years in the textile industry for Kordsa USA. Before her illness, she loved visiting the mountains and the beach. Elizabeth was a special person who enjoyed people and loved everyone unconditionally. She most enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Elizabeth was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed by all who loved her.

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sons, Gordon Johnson, Randy Johnson; daughter, Catherine Johnson; brothers, Roger Clark, Zack Clark; grandsons, Michael “Lil’ G” Dennis and George Clark.

Elizabeth left behind to cherish her memory, son, David Johnson (Robbin); daughters, Carolyn Locklear (Jeff), Sharon Prevatte, Melissa Prevatte (Wade); sister, Elva Cummings; grandchildren, Beth Locklear, Brittany McLaurin, Diana Anthony, BJ Locklear, Libby Dennis, Tim Curry, Brittany Pankey, Erika Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Christopher Johnson, great grandchildren, JaKayden Locklear, Chanel Davis, Jakoby Davis, Victor Pankey, Gordon Johnson, Tristin Hunt, BJ Hunt, Chase Odom, Briana Odom, Mya Odom, Bryce Odom, Gracie Johnson, Christopher Lee Johnson, Melissa Curry, Omonte McLaurin, Jr, Walter Pankey, Samya McLaurin, great-great grandchild, Kelani Johnson, and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.

A Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 in McDonald Family Cemetery.   Family will receive friends following the service at graveside.

COVID restrictions require facial mask with social distancing and limited attendance for all services.
