Edward Harold Dutch

Edward Harold Dutch, age 72 of Laurel Hill passed away on October 6, 2024.

He was born June 8, 1952 in Scotland County, North Carolina, son of the late Archie “Bunn” Dutch and the late Annie Mae Mauldin Dutch.  Edward was a Vietnam War Veteran who proudly served in the United States Army. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed drinking coffee with friends, and watching NASCAR racing. His greatest joy came from time spent with his family. Edward will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Harold Nicholas Dutch; brothers, Allen Dutch, Danny Ray Dutch, Gary Dutch, Edward Malcolm Dutch, Jr.; and sister, Brenda “Sally” Bullard.

Edward is survived by son, Dusty Dutch of Laurel Hill; sister, Judy D. Gardner (Jerry) of Hamlet; and grandson, Jaden Chavis; along with a host of loving extended family and his many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow at King Cemetery.

Visitation will be held prior to services from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
