Ebbie Quick, IV Obituary

Ebbie Quick, IV, age 68 of Bennettsville, South Carolina passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

Ebbie was born November 28, 1953 in Marlboro County, South Carolina, son of the late Ebbie Quick, III and Jeannie Mae Knight and husband to the late Eleanor Marie Tevepaugh. He worked many years as a machinist with Abbott Laboratories and attended Ghio Church of God of Prophecy. Ebbie was an avid sports fan, of Clemson Football and the Atlanta Braves. He also loved racing of any kind, as well as hunting rabbits, cat fishing, gardening, and watching western movies. He will forever be missed as a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Ebbie is survived by his sons, Ebbie Quick, V (Jessica) of Hamlet, Brad Quick of Bennettsville, SC; sister, Linda Guinn (Jackie) of Bennettsville, SC; grandchildren, Rhyls Stewart, Ryder Stewart, Cooper Jace Quick; uncle, Brazzel June “June Bug” Knight, along with his extended family and many friends.

Due to the current pandemic status, all services will be private for family. Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Ghio Church of God of Prophesy, officiated by Rev. Larry Bullard. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 6, 2021 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
