Dorothy Lee Stevens, daughter of the late Wally B. Hair and Molly Cole Hair was born April 20, 1945 in Scotland County. She dedicated her life to caring for her family as a homemaker. She served as a member of East Laurinburg Baptist Church. Dorothy enjoyed shopping, collecting Elvis Pressley memorabilia and Beanie Babies. She passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the age of 75.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Gary Wayne Stevens and brother, James Hair.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Marshall Stevens, Sr., of the home; son, Marshall Ralph Stevens, Jr., and wife, Maria of East Laurinburg, Michael Ray Stevens and wife, Cristina of Laurinburg; daughter, Sarah Page Stevens of the home; grandchildren, Erika Elliot, Kristina Cooper, Aaron Stevens, Bridget Stevens, Mollie Stevens, Emily Stevens, Matthew Stevens, Sheena Barber, Ryan Stevens, Shawna Stevens; great grandchildren, Avery Elliot, Adrian Stevens, Bailey Cooper, Brooke Cooper, Kamron Cooper, Cadence Cooper, Travis Cooper, Jr., Emily Leann Barber, Ava Ward, along with a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2020 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. Richard Tyson. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
