Dorothy Anna Bridges Danos

Dorothy Anna Bridges Danos, age 92 of Laurinburg passed away on June 28, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Marion and Myrtle Owens Bridges born at home in East Laurinburg on July 15, 1932.  She was a delightful homemaker along with being a Regional Executive Housekeeper with Holiday Inn for over 32 years. She faithfully served as a member of the former East Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church.   She was gifted with the talent of music, loved playing the piano, singing, and especially singing with her trio and quartet groups.  Above all, Dorothy was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will dearly be missed. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands, Cecil Tyner and Warren Danos; daughter, Dianne Lewis; sister, Bea Dixon; brothers, Alfred Bridges, Ansel Bridges, Harold Bridges and Billy Bridges.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Ronald Tyner and wife Linda of Sunset Beach, NC; grandchildren, Keith (Paige) Crouch of High Point, NC, Kyle Tyner of Greensboro, NC, Lisa (Ron) Turner of Greensboro, NC, Debbie (Timmy) Barber of Cheraw, SC, Noelle Ballard of Rockingham, NC; nine great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; brother, Cecil Bridges of Lumberton, NC; along with a host of extended family and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Laurinburg Memorial Park.    Visitation with the family will be prior to services on Thursday from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
