Dorothy Hinesley Bell

Dorothy Hinesley Bell, loving mother, grandmother, sister, companion and friend, departed this life at the age of 59 on March 21, 2024.

She was born October 18, 1964 in York County, SC, daughter of the late Randell Dockery Hinesley and the late Dorothy Marie Howard. Dorothy was a devoted homemaker and worked for many years in housekeeping at Microtel Inn. She enjoyed reading, studying about anything in the medical field, shopping, grilling out, and riding four wheelers. Dorothy loved cooking for her family and sharing time with each of them especially her adored grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered for her love and devotion to family and friends.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by brother, Brian Hinesley; and sister, Angela Jessup.

Dorothy is survived by and her devoted companion, James Locklear; daughters, Jessica Sauls of Johnson County, Amanda Johnson (Dustin) of Marston, Tiffany C. Johnson of Vass; brothers, Tony Hinesley and Richard Hinesley both of Vass; sisters, Donna Taylor and Sherry Jessup each of Vass, Pamela Rogers of Pleasant Gardens; five grandchildren; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
