Doris Sanford Obituary

Doris Eugenia Atchison Sanford, age 66 of Laurinburg passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Morrison Manor Hospice Home in Laurinburg.

Doris, a daughter of the late Eugene Preston Atchison and Martha Alexander Melton Atchison was born April 13, 1954 in DeKalb, Georgia. She retired after many years from her career in accounting. Among her many hobbies, she enjoyed crafts, cross stitching, and reading. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with each of them.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Preston Atchison.

Doris leaves behind her daughter, Janet Locklear and husband Brandon of Wake Forest; step mother, Jean Adams and step brother, Tim Duke, both of Baltimore, Maryland; sister, Sarah Atchison of Savannah, Georgia, along with her nieces, nephews and friends.
