Donnie Locklear

Donnie Locklear, Age 63, of Laurinburg passed away at his home on Sunday September 7, 2025.

Born in Scotland County, NC, he was a son of Alton Lee Locklear and the late Bobbie Jean Locklear. Donnie was a man who cherished the simple pleasures of life. He found his greatest joy in the outdoors, whether he was fishing or hunting. He loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time on the porch surrounded by family.

 He is survived by his father, Alton Lee Locklear of Laurinburg; his three brothers, Brian Keith Locklear (Nancy) of Lumberton, Donald Locklear (Tammy) of Aberdeen, and Leonard Locklear (Tammy) of Laurinburg; and four sisters, Wanda Locklear (Robert), Edna Morante, and Patricia Locklear (Keith), all of Laurinburg, and Shiela Locklear of Maxton. He is also survived by his nieces, Shentilla Jones, Miranda Locklear, Diana Locklear, Cheyenne Morante, Jenelle Locklear, Elissa Locklear, Cindy Locklear, and Minnie Locklear; and his nephews, Timothy Jones, Bryant Locklear, Bobby Locklear, Patrick Locklear, Bradon Locklear, Dustan Locklear, and Nick Locklear. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be on Sunday, September, 14th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, September, 15th at 3:00 PM at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Sandhills Community Church Cemetery.
