Donald Ray Williams of Wagram, NC passed away at the age of 27 on May 5, 2023.
He was the son of Brian “Buck” Dimery and Angela Gail Williams Harrison, born on September 23, 1995 in Scotland County, NC.
Donald Ray was mean as a snake and had a heart of gold.
He loved fighting chickens, playing with his nephews, spending time with family and friends, fishing, and driving fast.
He was a very protective man who loved with all he had and would give the shirt off his back. He was blunt, honest, hardworking, loyal, and an all around amazing young man whose life was cut way too short.
He is preceded in death by grandfather, Cord Dimery; along with Rusty Tyndall, David Lee Williams, Jr., Michelle Parker, Aggie Lee Dimery, Scottie Lee Dimery, Eunice Jean Parker, Ann “Mema” Hopkins, Chad “Bo” Dimery, and Mary “Cooter” Chavis.
He is survived by his parents, Angela Williams Harrison (Dre) of Wagram, and Brian “Buck” Dimery of Laurinburg; brothers, Bryan Allen Williams and Cody Dimery (Sabrina) both of Laurinburg; sisters, Cassity Lee Williams of Laurinburg, Katelyn Dimery and Cassey Dimery both of Cameron, NC; grandparents, Mildred Dimery of Laurinburg, Jerry Williams and Karen Sue Williams of Wagram; nephews, Kaison Pasley, Dylan Dimery, Takoda Dimery; God-parents, Tracy Tyndall Bryant and Thunder “George Allen” Locklear; bonus siblings, Will Smith, Tyleak Campbell, Travon Campbell, Redric Mclean, Travon McLean, Amie McNeil, Tyus Roberts, Tyshuon Thomas, Tyrell Thomas, Nautica McCallum, Quan Sturdivent (Senaya), Ronald “Lane” Mishue, Tumanchee Bryant, Cody Clark, Courtney Clark, James Carl Tyndall III, Shanda Jacobs, Adrian Jacobs, Jade Marlow, Dylan Marlow, Dalton Cooper, Shawn Cooper, Shylynn Chavis, Tre’ McQueen, Jarred Roberts; bonus niece and nephew, Genesis and Mason Marlow.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
