Dena Stainback Obituary

Dena Michelle Stainback, age 45 of Hamlet passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021.

Dena was born May 17, 1976 in Vance County, North Carolina, daughter of Johnnie McKinney Brigman and the late Dean Lawrence Stainback. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking for others. Dena most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. She was known as “Momma’s Girl”, and will be truly missed by all.

Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her sister, Emily Lowery.

Dena is survived by her sons, Dean Lawrence Stainback (Nykeisha) of Linden, Jonathan Stainback-Oxendine (Keshaira) of Spring Lake; mother, Johnnie Brigman of Hamlet; sister, Amy Perkins (Stephen) of Laurel Hill; grandchildren, Dean Stainback, Zoey Stainback, Greyson Stainback, along with a host of extended family and friends.
