Debra Lynne (Ledoux) McNemar

Debra Lynne Ledoux McNemar, age 56 of Laurinburg passed away to her Heavenly home on July 19, 2021.

Debra was born August 18, 1964 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Denis Ledoux and Patricia Martin. She worked as an Activities Director within the Health Care System. Debra was a faithful member of East Laurinburg Baptist where she served in mission work and as President of Women on Missions. Helping others was a gift she had which touched the lives of all who knew her. She enjoyed hosting birthday parties, crafting, and traveling, but most enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with family. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Donald Eugene Locklear.

Debra leaves behind to cherish her memory husband, William McNemar of the home; step-son, Jacob Blue of Ohio; step-daughters, Ashlee Swinney (Quinton) of Rockingham, Mallory Stubbs (Chris) of Laurel Hill, Candace McNemar of Laurinburg; brothers, Barry Ledoux (Michele) of Pace, FL, Steve Ledoux (Michele) of Croghan, NY; sister, Lisa Ledoux Cross (Ed) of Florida; step-grandchildren, Marissa Swinney, Andrew Swinney, Caleb Swinney, Delilah Swinney, Kaziah Stubbs; nieces and nephews, Camille Ledoux, Amanda Bell, Jake Ledoux, Edward Cross, Andrew Cross; great niece and nephew, Jaylin Bell, Hayden Bell, along with many extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at East Laurinburg Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Richard Tyson. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church. A private interment will be at a later date.
