David Wayne Rierson

David Wayne Rierson, age 68 of Laurinburg passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025. 

He was the son of the late Richard Lee Rierson and the late Yuriko Miyasaka Rierson born April 25, 1957 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He enjoyed his career in manufacturing as an Injection Molding Technician.  He loved playing his guitar, fishing, riding motorcycles and playing a round of golf.  He adored his family and cherished time shared with each of them.

David is survived by his daughter, Valerie Rierson Thomas and her husband, Jr Thomas of Lumberton; his adored granddaughter, Josephine Ann Thomas; brother, Johnny Rierson and sister, Mary Rierson Snead along with a host of extended family and many friends.

A private family memorial service is being planned for a later date.
