Darrick Theadore Clark

Darrick Theadore Clark of Maxton departed this life at the age of 55 on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

He was the loving son of Linda Locklear Clark and the late Ander Clark, born January 14, 1970 in Scotland County, NC. Darrick was a successful self-employed truck driver. He enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and was an avid UNC Tar Heel fan. His greatest joy came from time spent with his family and friends and the memories they shared. Darrick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memory is adored wife, Donna Jean Locklear Clark of the home; son, Derrick Clark of Maxton; daughters, Constance Clark Whitley and husband, Justin of Pembroke, Cyla Clark of the home; mother, Linda Clark of Laurinburg; sisters, Nikki F. Clark of Laurinburg, Elizabeth “Becky” Clark Locklear and husband, Gerald also of Laurinburg; grandson, Zaylen; and mother-in-law, Deloris Locklear of Dillon, SC; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and his many friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February, 8, 2025 at Gray Pond Baptist Church with burial following in the Clark Family Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
