Daniel Joe Grant

Daniel Joe Grant, age 60 of Laurinburg passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022.

Born July 29, 1961, Daniel was the son of Mary Margaret Grant Locklear and the late Glenn Russell Ammons.  He was a dedicated employee of Murphy Brown, enjoyed gardening and loved sharing meals with family and friends.   Daniel’s greatest joy was sharing time with his family. He was a devoted family man who will truly be missed.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Jane Clark Grant of their home, and daughter, Ashley Nicole Stone of Laurinburg; his mother, Mary Margaret Grant Locklear of Shannon; brothers, Peter James Grant and John Glenn Ammons both of Laurinburg; sister, Vera Frederick of Shannon; grandchildren, Austin Farris, Mackenzey Farris, Tayden Barwick along with his nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9th at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Rev. Lee Jackson.  Burial will follow the service in Hillside Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held prior to services on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
