Daniel James Dibble, Jr.

Daniel James Dibble, Jr., age 72 of Laurel Hill passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020.

Daniel was born November 11, 1947 in Holyoke, Massachusetts, son of the late Daniel J. Dibble, Sr. and Frankie Dudy Dibble. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a retired C.O. repairman with Verizon Wireless. He enjoyed fishing and taking care of his yard. Daniel will be remembered as a caring man who always put others before himself. His greatest joy were times he spent with his family and caring for his grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Francis Dean Levell.

Daniel leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Deborah Kay Askew Dibble of the home; sons, Steven D. Dibble (Hope) of Cordova, James “Mitchell” Dibble of Laurinburg; grandchildren, Elizabeth Jenks, Benjamin Dibble, Jessica Dibble, Daniel T. Dibble, Shane La’Moore, Tiffani McDonald, Todd Hundley, Cody Sellers and great granddaughter, Lillian A. Jenks, along with a host of loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Healthkeeperz Hospice, 700 Progress Place, Laurinburg, NC 28352.

A Memorial service to celebrate his life is being held on Monday, February 17, at 11:00 am in the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.  The family will receive friends following the service.
