Damian Colton Chavis

Damian Colton Chavis was born January 14, 2006 adored son of Crystal Odom Chavis and the late Jonathan Chavis of Richmond County, North Carolina.   His joyful personality was shared by everyone he encountered.  He loved his time helping with the Richmond County High School Marching Band and Color Guard.  Many knew is smiling face while working customer service with Cookout.  He also enjoyed being and doing anything outdoors. Above all, he loved his time shared with family and friends.   Damien departed this life at the early age of 18 years old on the September 5, 2024.   A beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew and devoted friend who will dearly be missed.

Damian leaves behind his mother, Crystal Odom Chavis of Rockingham; brother, Jaden Chavis of Rockingham; sisters, Katie Campbell of Aberdeen, Alexis Chavis of Asheboro, Kinsley Chavis of Rockingham, Nevaeh Mirassou of Virginia; his grandparents, Denise Willard (William) of Asheboro, and Maurice Odom of Rockingham.   He is also survived a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

Visitation will be from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at Richard Boles Funeral Service.   

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in the Eastside Cemetery, Rockingham, NC.
