Dagmar Blue Dial of Maxton departed this life for her Heavenly home at the age of 64 on September 19, 2025.
She was born February 25, 1961 in Scotland County, the loving daughter of the late Angush “Junebug” Blue and the late Elgie Mae Clark Blue. Dagmar was the successful owner of Dag’s Beauty Salon with twenty-two years of helping others look and feel beautiful. She was a faithful member of Sycamore Hill Holiness Church. Dagmar loved playing softball in her younger years, going fishing, and cooking a delicious meal. Her greatest joy came from time spent with family and the memories they shared. Dagmar was a loving wife, mother, beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, devoted sister, and friend who will truly be missed.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by grandson, Josiah C. Blue; brother, Marlon Blue; sisters, Veronica J. McGirt and Tammy Bullard.
Left to rejoice in her memory is husband, Carl T. Dial of their home; sons, Angush C. Blue, Marlon L. Dial and wife, Ashley, and Maximus O.L. Dial each of Maxton; daughter, Kina T. Graham of Maxton; sisters, Robin Blue and Jacqueline B. Hunt both of Maxton; grandchildren, Raylynn Grace Blue, Lakelyn Sky Blue, Catori Dial, Atticus Dial, Marlianna Dial, Elijah Dunn, Nigel Dunn; and great-grandson, Bryston Smiling; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family will have a time of visitation on Monday evening, September 22, 2025 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Sycamore Hill Holiness Church with burial following in the church cemetery.
