Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Snead

Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Snead, age 62 of Laurinburg passed away at home on Monday, September 30, 2024.

She was born April 3, 1962, loving daughter of the late Edwin “Buddy” Snead and the late Juanita Chance Snead of Scotland County, North Carolina. Cynthia worked as a supervisor with the Scotland County Recycling Center until her health declined. She was an animal lover who enjoyed bird watching, arts and crafts, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Cynthia will dearly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her companion, Tony Eugene Owens.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, son, Stephen “Stevie” Jenkins of Laurinburg; daughter, Cassie Jenkins of Laurinburg; brothers, Edwin "Keith" Snead and Richard “Ricky” Snead also of Laurinburg; grandchildren, Kambre Jenkins and James Baker; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Richard Boles Funeral Service 

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 6th at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park.

The family will be receiving visitors at 20201 McIntosh Road, Laurinburg, NC 28352.
