Craig Lee Goins

Craig Lee Goins, age 48 of Maxton, passed away on August 2, 2022. He was born on October 22, 1973 in Guilford County, NC to Jessie James Goins, Sr., and Martha Bledsole Goins.  Craig worked in residential construction and farming with Richardson Farms. He enjoyed working with his hands, a talented woodworker and craftsman, especially working with beads. He was a member of Grace Faith Church in Fairmont. He will be remembered as a devoted family man.

Craig was preceded in death by his sister, Felicia Goins.

He is survived by his wife Della W. Goins of St. Pauls; parents, Jesse Goins Sr., and Martha Goins of Maxton; twin brother, Jesse James Goins Jr., (Loretta) of Maxton; stepchildren, Darryl Waltman of Des Moines, IA, and Danielle Sasnett (Corey) of FL; step grandchildren, Cali Sky, Emma Rain, Elijah Adam, William Oliver; Nephews, James R. Goins and Dustin T. Goins; great niece, Mazelyn “Boobee” Clark; and his beloved K-9’s, Princess and Baby Girl.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Union Light Baptist Church in Maxton with burial following in church cemetery.  Visitation will be on Saturday, prior to the service beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the church.
